Welcome to My Garden

Gardening has long been vital to me offering times of reflection and refreshing. Though I had to leave my just-beginning-to-flourish terra firma garden (seven colors of roses, blueberries, vegetables, herbs) behind in the mid-1980’s when my husband and I made our first U.S. cross-country move, I’ve continued to garden everywhere we’ve landed. Though I’ve occasionally had opportunity to dig my garden in the ground, most of these years I’ve happily gardened in terra-cotta pots and other containers. I’ve learned a lot over the years of what works and what doesn’t and continue to learn. I’m currently living with my husband in Yorkshire, England and creating my first English garden in containers on gravel, and in little patches of soil in a mature landscape. My garden is my place to think and unwind and observe the wonders of God, the Creator and Original Gardener, often reflecting his work in my paintings. Now, I’d like to share some glimpses of my garden with you.
